2012 Catch-Up!
Trying to catch up on a whole year of life seems almost impossible, but here is my attempt to save face with myself! lol! Our entire 2012 was consumed with the opportunity presented to us to move back to Kerrville. But inbetween life happens & here are a few of the happenings.
Our Springs Break was a work/play/decide if we would move trip. Pablo had to visit customers at the Houston Stock Show & Rodeo and the boardwalk outside of Galveston. We visited also & enjoyed the games, rides & the beach. Then it was on to Kerrville.
Tucker created the Battle of San Jacinto for 7th grade History. His favorite class!
Pablo, Mango, Vida & I tore down the "tree fort" that we assembled with Poppy approximately 10 years ago. :( But it had to go, to get the house ready to put on the market. This was only one of MANY, MANY projects! Painting, a new fence, lots of cleaning out & decluttering, sprinkler & yard work, etc... Get the picture?
Slider had been a member of our family since he was about the size of a quarter. He had an awesome tank that Pablo designed & built for him. lol! Only the best for our Slider. We found a great home for him at Pine Cove Christian Camp. They have a Wilderness Dept. & they adopted Slider and built him an even bigger, better habitat. We have been informed that he is a hit with the kids! What a blessing!Finding a good home for a very spoiled turtle is not an easy thing to do.

Trying to Catch Up!!!!!
This is just the typical me when it comes to these kinds of computer things. Takes alot of sit down time, and figure out time, every time I attempt to post on my Blog. I do love to look back on past posts and remember those special times in our lives. Soooooo, I will keep blogging along and hope and pray that it becomes easier as time goes on.
Tucker has been busy this Spring with school, violin, a Texas history trip, social dance, his first year of track and just being a 7th grade jr. high student. Lots of pressure at this age. Love my sweet boy to pieces!!!!

Next we have our newest edition to the family, our 4 1/2 lb. bossy pants, Vida! She is so full of herself! Can't believe that they passed her from beginning dog training

Cozumel Adventure-July 2011
WELCOME TO COZUMEL!
Old-Man-Tree at the Park Royal....Our home for the week!
Did 8 dives & saw sea turtles, nurse sharks, eels, incredible corals, tons of fish,etc.!
Also did a wreck dive.
AWESOME!
On the west side of the island we saw where the turtles came up to nest & lay their eggs.
Great Fun & Family Time!

Christmas 2010 w/ the Brinkmans
they say that "pictures say 1000 words". i love this because when it comes to expressing myself with words on paper, they just seem to get lost in translation. we had a fabulous christmas & were blessed in many ways during this time of year. tucker played the violin a few times during the holiday season to brighten up the day of those who listened at the assisted living center & for the parent's at school. we celebrated with the sutherlins & the georges at numa & pop's in athens. & we had our own party on christmas day with numa & pop....we had a delicious feast that pablo & i prepared together. through all of this.....striving to remember the true meaning of all of this festivity.
THAT A BABY WAS BORN TO SAVE US FROM OUR SINS & TO GIVE US ETERNAL LIFE! AMEN
